Utilicast shall provide consulting services to support an Eastern investor-owned utility’s roadmap and requirements review related to FERC 2222 compliance. These services shall include a current state assessment of regulatory and technology workstreams in preparation for the PJM energy/ancillary services market participation go live. The consulting services shall include a FERC 2222 application architecture and an inventory of system changes needed as well as a FERC 2222 project plan for execution.
Utilicast will help facilitate a Central member cooperative’s mission, vision, and value statement creation. As a collaborative effort, Utilicast will partner with the cooperative’s stakeholders to develop a comprehensive analysis of the political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal (PESTEL) external factors impacting them, which can then be used to better analyze their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
A Central cooperative has selected a vendor to implement an ETRM + MISO market communications. Utilicast will provide assistance in the implementation and vendor management.
Utilicast will conduct a compliance review of a Pacific investor-owned utility’s market scheduling and operations subject to CAISO’s market rules and OATT requirements, as well as the statutes, regulations, and policies of FERC.
Utilicast will support a required refresh to GE Power On Reliance (POR) for a Pacific investor-owned, public utility to prevent the legacy software from becoming obsolete, take advantage of new capabilites offered in subsequent releases, and implement enhancement to existing campabilites in the current version of POR. Utilicat will also support histroian consolidation and the implementation of Wide Area Measurment.
Through a competitive RFP, Utilicast was hired as the System Integrator for an EMS replacement of a private Pacific utility.
