Utilicast will augment its team to meet its objectives, providing project management and coordination services.
Utilicast will continue to provide Solution Architecture as a Service for the next three years to one of the largest electric utilities in the Mountain U.S. across its project portfolio. Utilicast will improve the utility’s ability to create and deploy reliable technology solutions that deliver business value.
Utilicast will provide Energy Management expertise for a Eastern federally owned electric utilities enhancements to the State Estimator Monitoring (SE-MON) tool, including scoping and testing.
A Mountain public electric and water utility is considering transitioning to CIM-based integration across the organization. Utilicast was hired to help meet the following four goals: 1. Engage and Initiate, 2. Build Business Case 3. Technology Roadmap, and 4. Guidance on Team /Organization for model governance.
Utilicast will serve as the prime contractor and provide project management for a software-enabled clean energy solution provider to evaluate the market potential for energy efficiency and demand response for a Central public utility company.
Utilicast will perform technical and contractual evaluations of interconnection and transmission services for specific projects upon request for a Mountain renewable energy developer and asset management company.
Utilicast will develop and provide an education workshop on organized markets development in the WECC, including an overview of current and future WECC organized market developments CAISO WEIM and SPP WEIS implementation from a utility perspective, participating and non-participating resources, and non-WEIM/WEIS resources, CAISO EDAM and SPP Markets+ proposals and implementation timelines for a Mountain renewable energy developer and asset management company.

Utilicast will provide technical power flow analysis of new load and generation assets interconnections, support technical coordination with the interconnected transmission owner, transmission operator, and balancing authority, and project management for a large Pacific technology and data services company.
Utilicast will conduct an initial cross-functional organizational assessment for a Mountain wholesale power supplier. Utilicast will review the current organization structure, roles, responsibilities, and FTE allocations, interview stakeholders to solicit feedback and recommendations; Identify gaps, pain points, and areas of improvement for operating in Southwest Power Pool (SPP) WEIM/WEIS.
Utilicast will begin the Implementation phase for SCADA and Energy Management System (EMS) for a Single Vendor Platform (SVP) multi-year initiative for a Mountain regulated utility that includes an Outage Management System (OMS) and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) in future phases.
