The largest electric utility in the state of Oklahoma is pursuing a second phase (Phase 2) of the CADS platform implementation project. As part of the delivery of this project, project management services are required to manage project scope, timeline, and risks, ensure consistency and provide regular tracking and communication with project stakeholders outlined in the Work Requirements section of this scope of work. Utilicast shall provide project management consulting services to execute the activities and develop the deliverables associated with the CADS Platform Phase 2 Implementation project as outlined in this scope of work. This scope of work addresses the project management functions only and does not cover non-project management components of design, build, test or deploy functions.
Utilicast has been hired to help manage Generation Interconnection stakeholders. Utilicast will plan, coordinate, and oversee Resource Interconnection study cycles. Utilicast will assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify resources, and develop schedules for timely completion of study cycle, and also work with team members to develop and implement process efficiencies and ensure process compliance with the Midwest System Operator Tariff and Business Practices Manual #015 Generation Interconnection.
Utilicast will perform a gap assessment of Control Room Technology to identify Control Room Technology baseline improvements for internal and external customers. We will evaluate resiliency of reliability tools for Balancing Area Authority and Reliability Coordinator purposes.

Utilicst was selected by an Electric Power Cooperative to provide a gap assessment to participate in the SPP RTO West. In addition to typical gap assessment components such as a cost assessment and technology impact, this project would include a medium-level to-be business process identification, detailed requirements identification (deep enough to send to vendors), solution architecture, and technical architecture recommendations. Utilicast will also provide some executive decision support.
Utilicast will research and analyze a large technology company’s power supply and recovery approach. We will focus on risk and alternate approaches to maintaining data center supply and serving essential customer services. They are seeking a data-driven approach to developing a power supply investment strategy.
Utilicast will support a Southwestern utility with investigating the feasibility of developing a Demand Response program to aggregate curtailable load identified by the data center customers in the area and manage the process that will curtail customer load when the transmission system is approaching its limits to prevent a system emergency.
Utilicast was selected as the System Integrator for a multi year Single Vendor Platform Initiative to include EMS/SCADA/OMS and ADMS for a diversified energy and technology holding company.
Utilicast will provide program and project management services in support of a large Midwestern utility’s FERC Order Initiative. Utilicast will support program definition, planning, stakeholder alignment, and resource planning.
