A Western U.S. utility has hired Utilicast to help with a significant amount of EMS SCADA modeling work due to the major transition occurring with the Transmission SCADA Replacement Program (TSRP). The transition to EMS is taking place over several years, thus making this effort a long-term project for the EMS team. This position will support both the EMS team and the TSRP project team by developing the necessary SCADA models to enable direct monitoring and control of field devices while maintaining bi-directional communication with the Remote Terminal Units (RTU) in the field.

A Mountain West Utility is entering the SPP Western Energy Imbalance Service (WEIS) market. This change order addresses the transition to SPP WEIS. Utilicast has been selected to provide subject matter expertise and project management to facilitate the WEIS integration project.
Utilicast was contacted to support a Generation and Transmission (G&T) cooperative’s SCADA Upgrade project. Scope includes help desk support, procedure writing and updates, and configuring PI integrations.
Utilicast will support the IT/OT team document application interfaces between PCI applications and other systems for a Southwestern Transmission Operator. In addition, Utilicast will support them with integration of market systems, data, and interfaces while providing training to new team members.
